Challenge

To create new revenue opportunities for its merchant base, Tranzzo aimed to enrich its core payment service with new offerings to partnered merchnats.

Solution

Tranzzo integrated myGaru’s telecom-based ID directly into its payment form, enabling anonymous customer recognition at the point of payment entry. This allowed the creation of actionable segments for anonymised behavioural analysis and retargeting.

On the platform side, Tranzzo built dedicated interface sections where merchants could access anonymised cohort-based audience analytics based on over 50 telecom-powered behavioural attributes — offered as a paid service. Merchants were further able to configure retargeting campaigns directly from the Tranzzo interface, delivering programmatic ads to people who had completed purchases, based on parameters such as transaction value, frequency, or recency.

As a result, Tranzzo launched a fully privacy-compliant analytics and advertising offering for its merchant base — increasing merchant engagement and unlocking new revenue from ad spend commissions and analytics consumption. All of this was achieved without requiring direct telecom integrations or contracting, and without asking merchants’ customers to log in via email.
